Changing your name

If your name has changed over the years, you can list your current name on your overall account and your former/maiden name on your school class list. Both will show on your profile—for example, "Jane Smith (Johnson)." This helps your friends recognize you on Classmates.com! 

To change your current name

1. For desktop users, click My Classmates® in the top portion of any page. (For mobile users, click , you may have to expand to make your selection)
2. Under the My Account header, click Personal Information
3. Enter your current password for verification (If you've forgotten or misplaced it, click here to submit a new password request)
4. Update your name
5. Click Save my settings

To change your former/maiden name

1. For desktop users, click My Classmates® in the top portion of any page. (For mobile users, click , you may have to expand to make your selection)
2. Under the My Account header, click Edit Schools
3. Click Edit in the school you want to update
4. Update your name
5. Click Save
