There are a few different types of email you may receive as a member of Classmates.
- Customary emails can include push notifications or other communications facilitating, completing or confirming your registration, upgrade, membership renewal, yearbook purchase or other transaction, new member on-boarding emails, emails that provide you notice of new or updated products or features, emails, biannual membership activity updates and/or other administrative messages. Since these directly affect you as a member, they're not optional.

Email subscriptions can include newsletters, member to member activity notifications, and more. These are optional—you can easily review and update your subscriptions. For desktop users, click My Classmates® in the top portion of any page. For mobile users, click
. This will open the navigation menu (you may have to expand to make a selection). Under Account, click Email Subscriptions. You'll also find a link to update your preferences at the bottom of each email subscription you receive from us.
- Commercial emails can include communications about third party special offers, discounts, or promotions. Each commercial email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom to allow you to easily opt out of receiving the same or similar commercial email in the future.
