Finding and joining schools

Thousands of kindergarten through 12th grade schools located within the United States are listed on Classmates. 

Although we previously supported colleges, Canadian, and Overseas American schools, our focus is now exclusively on primary schools located in the United States. We do not support any international schools. 

To find and join a school from the homepage

1. Click the Search Classmates® box at the top right corner of any page
2. Type the name of the school you're looking for, plus the state and/or city
3. Once you find the right school, click on Visit to the right of the school name
4. Click the icon and enter your attendance information
5. Click Save> 

To find and join a school from My Classmates® 

1. For desktop users, click My Classmates® in the top portion of any page. (For mobile users, click , you may have to expand to make your selection)
2. Under the My Account header, click Edit Schools 
3. In the Add another school! box, enter the required information to find the name of the school you are searching for
4. Once you find the right school, click Join>

Please note that if you are using the Classmates app, you can change affiliations but cannot edit or delete edit any other school info.
