There are a few different types of email you may receive as a member of Classmates.
- Customary emails include introductory account info (your "Welcome" email), receipts for any purchases you make, and occasional announcements about new or updated features or policies and other relevant communications. Since these directly affect you as a member, they're not optional.
- Email subscriptions include newsletters, profile visit notifications, and more. These are optional—you can easily review and update your subscriptions. For desktop users, click My Classmates in the top portion of any page. For mobile users, click . This will open the navigation menu (you may have to expand to make a selection). Select Account, then select Email Subscriptions. You'll also find a link to update your preferences at the bottom of each email subscription you receive from us.
- Commercial emails include communications about special offers, discounts, or promotions. Each commercial email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom to allow you to easily opt out of receiving further commercial emails if you'd like.
